Minhaj Academy
By accessing or using the Minhaj Academy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our platform. These Terms apply to all users, including parents, guardians, and any other persons accessing the site on behalf of a student.
Minhaj Academy is an online Islamic education platform offering live, small-group classes in Quran, Arabic Language, and Islamic Studies for Muslim children aged 5 to 18. Our services are delivered via video conferencing to families in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, and Ireland.
Our services are intended for children aged 5 to 18. All accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age. By registering, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child being enrolled and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in violation of these Terms.
Minhaj Academy provides live, online group classes in the following subjects:
Classes are delivered in small groups via video conferencing. Class schedules, group sizes, and curriculum content may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes to the services you are enrolled in.
Upon enrolment, your child will be assessed to determine the appropriate class level. Placement decisions are made at the discretion of our academic team. We reserve the right to move a student to a different class level if it better serves their learning needs, and we will communicate such changes with you in advance.
Our monthly subscription fees are as follows:

Fees are billed monthly and are due at the start of each billing cycle. Payments are processed through our secure third-party payment provider. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable fee on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel your subscription.
All fees are stated in US dollars unless otherwise specified at the time of enrolment. We reserve the right to update our pricing with 30 days' advance notice.
We may offer a free trial class to new families. The free trial is available once per household. No payment information is required to book a trial class. Following the trial, enrolment in a paid subscription is optional. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team or through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods. Upon cancellation, your child's access to classes will continue until the end of the paid period.

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If your child is unable to attend a scheduled class, please notify us as soon as possible. Make-up classes are offered subject to availability and are not guaranteed. We do not provide refunds or credits for classes missed by the student without prior notice.
If Minhaj Academy cancels a class due to tutor unavailability or technical issues, we will make every effort to provide a make-up session or, where this is not possible, issue a credit to your account.

Minhaj Academy reserves the right to remove a student from a class or terminate a subscription without refund if conduct standards are seriously or repeatedly breached.
The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. Minhaj Academy operates in accordance with child safeguarding best practices. All tutors undergo background checks and are trained in safeguarding procedures.

All content on the Minhaj Academy platform, including but not limited to curriculum materials, lesson recordings, graphics, logos, and text, is the intellectual property of Minhaj Academy or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
Recording of live classes by parents, guardians, or students is strictly prohibited without written consent from Minhaj Academy.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. Please review it at www.minhaj.kids/privacy.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Minhaj Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee that our platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data or damage to your device arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection law in your country of residence provides for an alternative forum.
